I am starting to get seriously homesick. I want to wake up every morning knowing that the skies will be blue, the sun will be shining and breakfast on the balcony is waiting. Fethiye has changed considerably in the 16 years we have been coming to Turkey. This article in Fethiye Times (CLICK HERE) shows some interesting photos of old Fethiye going back far beyond our first visit. I must admit I have never really been exploring in the old town – must put it on my list!
I have been ordering stuff from Amazon to be delivered to Turkey for several years now and have always been impressed with the reliability and speed of delivery. However, I was interested to read in Hurriyet Daily News that Amazon intend to have their own fleet of cargo planes. (CLICK HERE) Will it be delivery drones next?
We have been visiting a number of National Trust properties whilst we are here. They are interesting and well maintained – completely different from the ancient sites we visit in Turkey. I must admit this is one of the things I do enjoy about coming back!
